What the fake F test actually measures
An F poser calls themselves an F while their actual behavior tells a different story. Most of them have spent years believing empathy was their one sure thing. If "okay but what's the actual takeaway" has ever climbed up your throat three minutes into a friend venting, you're a candidate. Same if you were the one spotting a plot hole while everyone else around you cried. That gap between the self-image and the real behavior is what this test runs on.
This test never asks a self-rating question like "are you empathetic." Instead it puts scenes with real stakes in front of you. A friend's breakup, a coworker's mistake, a text thread that's been running 30 minutes at 11pm, the teammate who did nothing on the group project. It asks about the reaction you show in public and the private thought behind it, separately. So even if you can guess which answer "looks like an F," your hand ends up going with the real habit anyway.
Results split into five tiers, from certified real F to basically T. No tier ranks above another. What matters more than the number is which scene made your hand stop. Take it with a friend or partner and compare your results. The conversations that quietly stung in the past suddenly make a lot more sense.
